WALLET SECURITY

How to check if a crypto wallet is safe

A wallet is not safe or unsafe by itself. Its risk lives in what it has touched: old approvals, dust tokens, contract interactions and activity patterns. A wallet security check reads those signals so you act on facts, not fear.

What a wallet security check actually measures

Most people think a security check means malware scanning. On-chain it means something else: reading the public footprint of an address and grading the surfaces an attacker could use. Radarium looks at four things. Wallet age and activity depth show whether this is a seasoned address or a fresh burner that scams target first. Token spread flags airdrop and dust tokens, the most common phishing entry point. Approval surface shows how much standing permission the wallet has handed to contracts. Balance concentration hints at whether hardware-wallet hygiene is worth the effort.

None of this requires connecting your wallet. The address is public, so the whole check is a read-only lookup. You never sign anything, and no permission is granted at any point.

Reading the score

The output is a single 0-1000 number and an S to D rank. A high score means fewer known risk surfaces, not a clean bill of health. Treat it as a starting point: an A-rank wallet with 90 dust tokens still has a phishing problem, and the findings will say so. The value is in the specifics under the score, not the letter itself.

What to do after the check

If the check flags heavy dust exposure, hide the unknown tokens in your wallet and never approve them. If it flags stale approvals, revoke the ones you no longer use. If a wallet holds real value but has thin history, move funds behind a hardware wallet. None of these steps need Radarium; the check just tells you which one matters for this specific address.

FAQ

Is the wallet security check free?

Yes. Checking any EVM, Solana or Tron address is free and unlimited. Paid tiers add 24/7 monitoring and Telegram alerts.

Do I need to connect my wallet?

No. The check only needs the public address. It never asks for a signature, seed phrase or approval.

Can a check guarantee a wallet is safe?

No. The score is a heuristic signal built from known risk surfaces. It narrows what to worry about; it does not replace your own judgment.
